A diagnostics will be performed on all computers received to verify the problem and determine whether a part replacement is required.

 

When the PC is received and the problem is unknown a non-refundable diagnostics fee of $20.00 will be charged.

Pickup/Drop-off Service

 

• I will come to your home and pick up your system.

• I will diagnose and fix the problem at my home office.

• I will deliver the fixed system back to your home and set it up.

• $10.00. (Fee covers up to 2 round trips to your home or office.)

• Average turn around 2-3 business days.

 

NOTE: All Pickup/Drop-off Service fees are due when the system is accepted for service. Any additional charges are due when the repair is complete. Customer will be called if any parts are needed with an estimate of the part cost.

•  CAUTION!  (Backup your system before this procedure!) Clean OS install will cause data loss!

• Updating of all (Windows/Linux) OS hardware drivers included.

• When requested customer must supply manufacturer’s System Restore CD or the Original OS disc provided by the PCs manufacturer. (You can also purchase a OS Disk through The Desktop Doctor.)

**- Customer may provide software and/or hardware for installation and will assume all risk with installation of a NON-Desktop Doctor repair purchase. The Desktop Doctor is not liable for damages or data loss that may occur during any installation process. If The Desktop Doctor purchases the parts needed, then the Desktop Doctor will match the manufacturers warranty with an equal labor warranty. The price of the part will be added to the labor cost as listed above.
